The Rotary Club of Tampa - Hyde Park is proud to have chartered the first  all girl Interact Club in the history of Rotary International at the Girls Academy of the Holy Names. AHN is located at 3319 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33629. 

The Interact Club was chartered in 1996 by their first President, Kristin Miller, daughter of Joanne Miller Pistorius, charter member and past president of the Hyde Park Rotary Club! Every year the Hyde Park Rotary Club works with the AHN Interact Club to participate in S4TL ( Seminar for Tomorrow's Leaders), Speech Contests, Christmas Parties for the Boys & Girls Clubs, and a variety of other charitable functions. 

This coming year has several exciting additions to the calendar of events, including a computer lab installation in Dominican Republic. This will allow a cultural and educational exchange between the Interact members at AHN and the Interact Club in Santo Domingo, as well as supervision between the Boys & Girls Club in Tampa and the children of Dominican Republic by the Interact Club members on an interactive website.
