Welcome to the International Homepage of the

Antique, Classic and Historic Automobile world Fellowship of Rotarians

The Antique, Classic and Historic Automobile world Fellowship of Rotarians (ACHAFR) is an international association of Rotarians dedicated to promoting the preservation and utilisation of antique, classic and historic automobiles as an opportunity for fellowship and service.

ACHAFR combines an adherence to the principles of Rotary with a love of cars and the history of automotive technology and use this shared interest as an opportunity to advance and foster the object of Rotary.

It achieves this through:-

  • The organisation of at least one International rally a year :
    • For 2009 the Rotary Convention Tour took place in the UK during the week before the RI Convention with 47 cars from 4 countries taking part..
    • For 2010 planning has just started for two events. The first is the Rotary Tour Autoretro being organised by District 1730 in France. Further details ofthe second will follow in the near future.
    • For 2011 Tony Raylor a member of the RC of York Vikings and editor of the Morgans Year Book has already prepared details of his Rainbow Nation Tour - a 13 day Tour of South Africa.
  • The support and encouragement of National Fellowship Organisations (Chapters) to promote and assist local Rotary Clubs with the organisation and promotion of Vintage and Classic Car Rallies; Static Shows and Tours
  • The publication of an Annual Yearbook listing all members of the Worldwide Fellowship together with a six monthly newsletter'.
